Here's example #5,283 why I do not support the Republican party, even though they were supposed to be the conservative alternative to the Democrats.

Billy Tauzin currently is CEO of PhRMA, a powerful drug lobby. He just worked out an underhanded, under the table, deal with Obama to promise him $80 billion for Obamacare in savings so long as they retain the ban on foreign drugs and not to lower Medicare fees.

That's only the tip of the iceberg. When the Clintons promoted Hillarycare, PhRMA ran well-received ads featuring "Harry and Louise" OPPOSING the socialist health plan. The ads were credited as the main factor in derailing Hillarycare. Their tagline was "If they choose, we lose."

Suddenly now, PhRMA SUPPORTS Obama's socialist health plan. They have brought back the Harry and Louise ads, this time to urge passage of the socialist plan. "It looks like we may finally get health care reform. It's about time." beams Harry, even though he is the reason they didn't get health care reform before. Louise pipes in, "A little more cooperation, a little less politics, and we can get the job done this time!", even though she is the reason we didn't get it last time. The ads deceptively sound like Harry and Louise have always wanted a socialist health care plan.

PhRMA's Tauzin has played in both sides of the traffic before. He used to be a Democrat congressman from Louisiana. He led a group called the "Blue Dog Democrats". In the 1980's he was assistant majority whip.

When the Republicans took power in 1994, Tauzin switched parties faster than the Pope and Italy changed sides in WWII to stay on the winning team. He became the majority whip for the GOP - the only man ever to hold leadership positions in both parties. Under George W. Bush, Tauzin was chairman of the committee that helped pass Bush's effort to add a prescription drug benefit to Medicare with a 3 a.m. vote.

Against a Democrat's socialist health plan, in favor of a Democrat's socialist health plan. In favor of a Republican's socialist health plan. Tauzin has been on both sides, back-and-forth, all along. He's a typical Republican.

The adulerous affair of Gov. Mark Sanford is public news now. Here are my comments on the matter:

Anyone can fall prey to sins of the flesh. What blows my mind is what he has done since.

His wife was gracious enough to concede that he had earned a chance to attempt to reconcile. So what does he do? He abandons his post to secretly meet with the whore (who also was married originally). Then he comes back and starts trying to justify his adultery by spouting off that she was his soulmate, their relationship was true love, and now he'll have to learn to love his wife all over again. WHAT?

If, God forbid, I ever cheated on my wife, I don't think a good plan of reconciliation would be to say, "Honey, that woman was my soulmate. We were really in love, but I'll try to learn to love you again." A frying pan upside the head would hardly begin to be an adequate response. What must Mrs. Sanford think of such comments? They must hurt more than the infidelity. Gov. Sanford must want his marriage to dissolve so he can flee back to his "soulmate".

BTW, if they get together and reality sets in, they will have all the problems every couple has. Currently, they only see the good side of each other. That's always the case with someone on the side. The wife is there for better and worse, richer and poorer. The mistress is only there for the better and richer. That's why 2nd marriages have an even higher divorce rate.

IMO, what Sanford has done since the adultery was exposed was far more repugnant than the adultery.

I'm SHOCKED. I never saw this coming.

Alaska Gov. Palin's daughter, fiance break up

WASILLA, Alaska – Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin, the teenage daughter of Gov. Sarah Palin, have broken off their engagement, he said Wednesday, about 2 1/2 months after the couple had a baby. Johnston, 19, told The Associated Press that he and 18-year-old Bristol Palin mutually decided "a while ago" to end their relationship.

The conservative savior sheds her sheep's clothing to allow her feminist liberal side to show. She not only appoints a woman to the Alaskan State Supreme Court, but a pro-abortion woman who has been on the board of Banned Parenthood! Too bad her and McCain didn't win and we got saddled with a pro-abortion president like Obama.

Sarah Palin Appoints Former Planned Parenthood Board Member to Alaska Supreme Court

By Lisa Demer / Anchorage Daily NewsGov.

Sarah Palin on Wednesday picked an Anchorage judge to fill the latest vacancy on the Alaska Supreme Court despite efforts by a Christian group to convince her to do otherwise. Anchorage Superior Court Judge Morgan Christen, on the bench since 2002, will be just the second woman named to the high court in the 50 years since statehood. Christen's application included her membership in several charitable groups, including some from her past, but did not mention that she was on the board of Planned Parenthood in the mid-1990s.

Republicans Call Christians "Terrorists", "Nazis"

'Gays' put 'terrorist' label on Christians

Georgia Log Cabin Republican compares pro-family group to Nazis

February 20, By Bob Unruh © 2009 WorldNetDaily

A leader of a homosexual faction of Republicans is lobbying the new party chairman, Michael Steele, to ignore the suggestions of a pro-family Christian group to support traditional marriage, because the Christians are "terrorists." The attack comes from Jamie Ensley, president of the Georgia "Log Cabin Republicans," who also compared the Illinois-based Americans for Truth to Germany's Nazi party.

Months ago a preacher friend of mine said Bristol Palin's pregnancy would be used to excuse fornication. Now her mother, the conservative goddess, is helping.

Gov. Palin, who backed an abstinence-only sex education program when she ran for governor in 2006, told Van Susteren to expect abstinence from all teenagers was "not realistic." "Get beyond the ideal of abstinence," the 44 year old, new grandmother said. "Hey, life happens. Not the most ideal situation, certainly you make the most of it," said the governor.

TG: I agree things don't always work according to plan, but that is no reason to trash the plan. Just because some don't reach the ideal of abstinence doesn't mean we shouldn't still strive for it. We don't succeed with all murderers or rapists either. Should we just "get beyond the idea of preventing murder and rape"?

Bristol Palin said she is getting help from many members of her family with raising the infant while continuing her studies. She told Van Susteren she has no immediate plans to marry Levi Johnson, who she described as a 'hands on Dad." Last year, there were reports that the couple would marry in the coming year.

TG: But during the campaign, they were on the fast track to the altar. Now there are no plans to get married. Also, as you can see from the photo above and the link below, Bristol is also a boozer, even hitting the hooch while pregnant.

The above blasphemy was spewed out by Ms. Palin at an October 4th rally in California just after she was introduced by the feminazi who is the current President of the Loa Angeles chapter of the liberal N.O.W., Shelly Mandell. Her introduction to Palin pointed out that. “This is what a feminist looks like!”

That reminds me of the introduction of the leader of the Oshkosh. WI sodomite group, “Queers on the Water”. Michael Kahl proudly presented himself with, “This is what a gay man looks like!”

Both homosexuality and feminism are wicked perversions of God’s design for men, women, and families.

Mandell’s predecessor as LA NOW President, Tammy Bruce, is an avowed lesbian, and a pro-choice Democrat. She also endorses Ms. Palin.

Thursday, October 09, 2008

That's what Ms. Palin said in response to being asked about her position on whether a homosexual could pray for God to change his sexual perversion.

Here's what my five year old daughter Hannah prayed this evening:

"Dear Lord, thank you for providing for us. Bless this food. We love you Lord. In Jesus' Name, Amen."

If I ever need someone to pray for me, I'd much prefer it to be my little girl than Ms. Palin.

Ms. Palin had more nonsense to spew:

"But as for homosexuality, I am not going to judge Americans and the decisions that they make in their adult personal relationships. I have one of my absolute best friends for the last 30 years happens to be gay, and I love her dearly. And she is not my 'gay friend,' she is one of my best friends, who happens to have made a choice that isn’t a choice that I have made. But I am not going to judge people."

Never mind that the Bible tells us to "judge all things", to "prove all things and hold fast to that which is good", and to "try the spirits". We can't expect someone who doesn't have a clue about prayer to have a clue about scripture.

Sarah Palin vs. the heckler

'My son's over in Iraq, fighting for your right to protest'

When a protester made noise near the stage, Palin said, “My son is over in Iraq fighting for your right to protest right now.”

TG: How does anybody fighting in Iraq right now protect our right to protest? Nobody from Iraq was a serious threat to our rights. Only our own government threatens our right to protest.

... The protester, a man, was escorted outside by security. Another group of protestors farther away from the stage were also lead outside.

TG: Apparently Palin's son and his compatriots are not doing a very good job of protecting our rights to protest if the protestor was immediately hauled away by Palin's security. The protestor was infringed on by our own government, not Iraq's. Looks like Track Palin will be fighting against his own mother, if she is telling the truth about him protecting our right to protest.

In a list of over 70 items, there may be a handful that are overstated (that still leaves dozens of items to deal with) or mistaken. Here are a couple of corrections and updates I want to make to the below items:

* Ms. Palin has clarified that her statement quoted as claiming the war on terror was "a task from God" was meant to convey the message that our prayers were asking for God's guidance to be sure our action was within God's will, and thereby "a task of God". In lieu of an audio of her actual statement, we will take her at her word and withdraw that claim unless it can be better substantiated.

* The claim that the policy during Palin's administration forced rape victims (or their insurance) to pay for their own investigation is technically true, but Palin might not have been in favor of the policy. The lack of rapes in Wasilla could easily have kept such a law from being noticed. We will not hold Ms. Palin accountable for every law on the books, when such laws have never been implemented.

* The racy photo on the Vogue cover was a photoshop job. Still, Palin has shown plenty of leg in several photos. Enough to get the attention of the President of Pakistan and be criticised by Muslims for being immodest, during the campaign.
