HUCKABEE'S BIG DAY

*

Mike Huckabee's campaign tried to emulate Ron Paul's "Money Bomb" (11-5 Guy Fawkes Day).

It bombed.

To say he came nowhere near the $4.3 MILLION the Paul campaign raised would be an understatement. He raised just $224,000 (which was a big day for Huck).

Not only did he not raise the millions like Paul did on his big day, but he didn't even raise as much as Ron Paul did on the SAME day, even though it wasn't any special day for the Paul campaign. The Paul campaign pulled in $250,000. So neither Huckster, nor the media, can even crow about Huck's big day, because Paul surpassed it.

That's not all. Ron Paul's biggest day is yet to come. Over 19,200 have already pledged $100 on 12-16 (Boston Tea Party day) - and there are still three weeks left to pledge! Only 18,000 pledged for Guy Fawkes day to bring in the $4.3 million. How much will come in on 12-16?
Yet today Huckabee said, "People forget that presidential campaigns are ... if they're anything, about momentum," Huckabee said. "And if you have momentum, you'll get the money. You can have money, but if you don't have any momentum, then you'll end up like President Phil Gramm or President Ross Perot or President Steve Forbes." http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/Vote2008/story?id=3894906&page=1
Is Huckabee now campaigning for Ron Paul?
